My music performance in TACT

Hey,



I was lazy to include my music video performance in my blog.

At last my music performance is in my blog.


My neighbor Saritha introduced me to a Music composer and his Orchestra group in Middle town.

Maran and his team is searching for a Telugu singer.

Mr Maran and team is a Tamil orchestra who are giving a Telugu Music performance forst time for Telugu association of CT. They want a Telugu singer to help them in Lyrics.

Sarita friend Mr. Vishwanath is one of the singers in the Maran's Orchestra and thats how i was introduced..

He is such a lovely singer that Solo performance for "Jayaho" song in the movie "slum dog millionaire" became a highlight. Every one was excited that you can see their excitement in their dances and guys shouting for the song second time. See the excitement............

My performance was a solo and a duet.Anjali Theme song

Solo performance is the theme song from the movie "Anjali".

Duet is my favorite song from "Bommani geesthe".

I enjoyed singing my solo song but not with "bommani geesthe"


Dr Pandian, a Primary care physician from Middle town, was my song partner.

He is a pure tamilian and he has no idea of Telugu songs.

"Santosh subrahmanyiam" is the Tamil remake of Telugu movie "bommarillu" and so he has an idea of the song.

But he is so poor in adopting to the Lyrics. See this

Bommani geesthe duet



Since i went for practice for just 3 times and Pandianwas on a tour to India during the second Practice session, he had a little time to adopt Telugu lyrics.

See him singing the song and my inconvenience when he was having flaws in the song, it would have been nice if i was in the practice session at-least 5 to 6 times.

And the most lovely performance in our orchestra is "Oh sona vennela sona"

I will attach that video too in my next post with the details.

Day before performance


I was all set for the stage performance.

My brother minu joined us the weekend we had the performance.

We all 3 headed to Mohegon Sun Casino with Ramesh's Office Auditor for a Casino hangout.

We went to Springfield ice skating rink.

I bumped my head to the floor experiementing skates.

I became worried about my performance would be an upset if i couldnt set myself prepared.

Eventhough i was hurt we were in the casino playing poker and wheel of fortune till Late night 4.

But the greatest thing is i won $412 with 32 dollars of investment and my friend "Shilpa" had a jackpot of $600.

We thought of leaving town at 6 in morning and dressed up in indian Attire and leave for the show.

But we couldnt make it as we were late.We were all excited and slept at 4 30 and headed back directly to middle town for my performance.

I was getting ready for the show and ramesh went home and got my dress to the venue where i had my makeup and set for the show.

There was an another surprise, my uncle from stamford also joined us unexpectedly.

His daughter is giving a dance performance.

The most amazing thing in the Maran and his team is his "Daughter Diana who plays the Piano great.

His son works on both Piano and Drums.

Really this is a great experience with great team and unforgettable experience with Skates.

New year 2010

Ring out the old, ring in the new,

New year is coming, welcome it with  snow.



How is your new year celebrations?
I remember 4th and 5th grade if  i remember new year.
My mom took charge as a Munsif Magistrate in Kovvur, West godavari.
This place is my moms first posting as a magestriate.
My lil brother was in his first grade.
New year is the biggest festival for us because we get a lotof cakes on that day.
Moms Staff, Advocates, and friends wish her with a lot of cakes, apples and flower boquets.
I remember receiving 30 cakes during first new year in Kovvur.
In a moment,  the excitement would turn toan upset when mom gave the cakes as return gifts.
At last we were left with just 2 or 3  cakes.

Naughty brother, sweety 
I am the elder sister with a  naughty young brother.
During our school  days in Kovvur, we lived together with my dad's cousin who was doing his graduation.
Life was so much fun, frolic, laughter, fights, shouts.

Trouble is the brother of naughtiness who says ''Am on your back"
When ever me and my brother falls in to some trouble with our Naughtyness, my lil uncle will join us and try to cool mymom and dad.
I remember one   day when my dad was so angry, thatnyone of us gets a scolding for some mistake done, all the others will join in to support and make that person feel better.
Among the five of us, the youngest of all is my brother and just one year elder to him is my second cousin. These two are the naughtiest of the whole lot.
Once, these two naughty boys, were trying to push an Ambassador Car, which was parked just outside our home. Me and my sister were playing and we told those two boys to stay away from others’ car.  But did they hear us ???? Nope !!!!!
They were holding on to the bumper of the car and tried pushing again and again.
In the meanwhile, the driver of the car came and got in and started the car.  These two boys ignored the door opening and closing sounds and concentrated on pushing the car.
The moment the driver started the car and it started to move, the two little boys were overjoyed thinking it’s because of their immense strength, they moved the car.  They kept holding to the bumper of the car, still, thinking that they can push much better.
But the car started gaining speed and both these boys were literally dragged on the road.  Some onlooker informed the driver of the boys holding onto the bumper and he stopped the car and came running.
My God, but by that time, the whole chest was bleeding with scratches for these two naughty little ones.  How they used to run bare-chested for a week, till the wounds healed – such a sight to see – but still fresh in my memory.
Even now, we all recall this incident with fondness and tease my brothers about it.
That was time, when Surf was introduced in those carton boxes.  Remember that famous Lalitaji’s ad for Surf !!!!

Thinking about kovvur, i wanna tell you about my naughty brother.

During his early days of schooling in kovvur, one day my dad's little brother came to my school for pickup.
The Watchman complained to my uncle with a frightened face complaining about my brother blackmailing him that "he will throw behind bars if he doesn't give him a ice cream everyday".
The news shocked my mom and was at her heights and decided to throw him in Satya sai baba Hostel in Rajahmundry.
He was in hostel till his 2nd grade.
He was changed a lot in his behavior and attitude.
How fast the hostel changed him, that much fast  he also changed after coming from hostel.
He has a lot of timeto develop his mischief


What is your sun sign and moon sign?
And do you believe in astrology?
Well, of course, my sun sign is Taurus and this year is gonna be a landmark for ma life.
I will tell you ''why'' i my future  post.

What personality traits you often observe in  a Taureen women?
On observation, i find some contradictions to a typical Taureen and me.
They say  taurus women are introverts. Do you agree?
No you will not if you have a talk with me once.

The more easily i get upset, the more easily i forget such an upsetting event.

Happy new year 2010.
How was your new year eve celebrations?
We gave the new year a warm welcome with snow.
The morning started with heavy snow at 8  on the new year eve.
We were expecting our friends from Virginia to join us in the celebrations but they were and look at the snow.
They waited till afternoon and started but was struck in  heavy snow traffic on Interstate-95 Our hopes had gone down when snow started again at 3 and was contineous.
